Management team Alex Krainer Following his four year tenure as managing director of Greenoil S.A.M., a Monaco-based affiliate of a Swiss commodity trading group, Alex founded Equilibrium Solutions Inc. to focus on the challenge of providing innovative solutions and services in risk management and hedging. Alex has devoted the bulk of his energy to the problems of risk and uncertainty, leading a number of R&D projects related to decision making in trading, hedging and investment management. Dr. Gorazd Medic Co-inventor of Equilibrium's flagship technology, I-System, Gorazd is responsible for Equilibrium's ongoing R&D efforts. He holds a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris. A specialist in the field of computational engineering, Gorazd is currently associated with Stanford University in California where he acts as a scientific advisor on diverse projects including the General Electric Aircraft Engines research. Boris Brez Boris is a software engineer renowned for the exceptional quality of his work. His twenty year career spans project management responsibilities and systems design with a number of software ventures in Italy, Germany, Croatia and the USA. Boris joined Equilibrium as chief software architect, collaborating on Equilibrium's R&D efforts, managing the design, testing and implementation of our technological solutions. Emily Krainer Having completed her Masters degree in International Business at USC Columbia, Emily has worked in several countries for multinationals including Ingersoll Rand. At Equilibrium, she is responsible for operational and administrative management.
